Primary

A few weeks ago I was asked to take candid photo's at a stake primary activity. I really loved it. The kids are so cute!

This photo is probably my favorite. He's going to have so many girls chasing after him! Ha ha

The little boys loved watching the tractors.

He has the most beautiful eyes and lashes!

The photo below makes me laugh so hard. They are SO cute!!

This little girl reminds me of Ramona from Ramona and Beezus :)

Dawn

Before the family session I took I snapped these as I was scoping out the place. I love how quiet it is at this time of day. There were many fish jumping around in the water. I really love watching the sun come up over the mountains. If you missed the sun coming up behind the Grand Tetons it can be found here.

Lagoon

Last weekend my family and I went to Lagoon. I took my little pink point and shoot. It is so good for me to use my point and shoot occasionally because then I realize how grateful I am for my SLR. Almost all of these are taken in the Pioneer Village. I wish we still used mailboxes like the one above! I love old fashion things. Paint that house below and it would be my exact dream house.

birds

My photography teacher last semester loved birds. I kept trying to get good picture's of birds for him. I finally got some that turned out, but now I am done with his class. I don't even like birds. I would never print out either of these pictures to hang on the wall. Birds freak me out. Look at the bird on the very left in the picture below. They look and sound very pretty though!

Remember

There is a story behind the quote. At BYU-Idaho there is an Honor Code that the students are supposed to follow. It's pretty simple I follow it even when I'm not there. Every Tuesday we have a devotional. Part of the Honor Code for the girls is to have knee length skirts. At one of the devotionals this semester President Clark was reminding the students of this because many of the girls dress like they don't know where their knees are. He said "The knee is a joint.. it's not located in the upper thigh." Ha ha ha. He told us to remind our roommates and friends where they're knees are;) I just painted four new frames and thought this would be a good picture to take and hang by the front door of the apartment. I love President Clark! It was pretty funny, but sadly true that many girls wear super short skirts.

the best of rec sports

I really loved being part of Rec Sports at BYU-Idaho. It was such a great experience. It was good for me to get out of my comfort zone to try something completely new. I got to meet so many great people and learned how to work better with others. With the Olympics going on I have a new dream to be a photographer for the Olympics. Realistic, right? Probably not, but now I do have being the photographer for Rec Sports under my belt;)
Rec Sports had some really fun events this semester. Mud volleyball is a big one. This semester we had a goal to really increase our social media. I was able to add pictures to our facebook. The "likes" of our facebook page doubled. It was my favorite to have the photos I was taking used as profile pictures or cover images.

I really love how this guy takes coaching his girls flag football team so sersiously.
