retreat!

I just got back today from my RecSports retreat.We went to this cabin that was so nice. I loved getting away to somewhere pretty. There was so much snow!

 





 The sky was so dark. We had to leave earlier than planned so we wouldn't have to drive in the worst part of the storm. The storm was crazy! I hadn't ever seen anything like it. At times we could barely see in front of us. I couldn't believe how windy it was. The road reminded me of dry ice when you make root beer when you play with the smoky steamy stuff.

Baby Porter

I loved this photo session! I have been wanting to have a session like this for a really long time. This family is so amazing! I love them. When we were all younger I would babysit some of them. When I was about 11 I would take picture's of three of them for fun. I have some really cute ones from when their little girl was about three on their slide or laying down. They're all so cute and sweet!:) Little kids are so much fun.
 As I edited these I would just smile and show my roommate's how cute these guys are. They're all so sweet! We just did a couple with all of the kids and then mostly just Porter:) He is so loved.

Girls Night!

Last night my sister and I had a girls night! It was so much fun. We went and got sushi together. I'm so glad I tried it a few weeks ago! I really love the cooked kind. I'll probably never try the raw stuff. I went over to her apartment right after taking pictures of dodgeball so I still had my camera. Her roommate got flowers from her fiance. They were so pretty, so of course I took pictures of them. :) My sister could hear my camera and wasn't too surprised that I'd take pictures of the flowers ha ha.

Tonight I decided to use my new 50mm 1.8 lens to take picture's for RecSport instead of my 70-200mm. I loved it! My favorite photographs are when they're watching to see if the ball will go in. They always have such intense (sometimes funny) faces. It's so funny because so many hockey and basketball player's stick out their tongue.



Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! In elementary school this was my favorite day of the whole year. I loved picking out certain conversation hearts to give to my crushes ha ha. I loved making my valentine boxes. My favorite was probably my purple and pink mail box.

This year I got a secret admirer! I don't remember ever having one before! They gave me a plate of yummy cookies with dove chocolate and they told me I was sweet! :) I can't quit thinking about who it could be. They went through all that work to make cookies and aren't given credit for it. I just really hoping they ask me out on a date! I really really want to know who it is...

It was so fun to take pictures of newborns again! It's been a while. They are so fun. He's such a cutie!



Idaho Falls Temple

This temple is SO gorgeous! I loved taking more pictures of it. It was such a beautiful day. Some of my roommate's and friend are from Idaho Falls so they get to set these pictures as they're desktop background. I love having such good roommate's, family, and friends that tell me they love my pictures.:)
